According to a press release that was published last month, Pirelli tires will be original equipment in 34 new motorcycle models to be released in 2020. The Italian brand remains to be a first choice for several motorcycle manufacturers who have continuously picked Pirelli over the years.
The 34 new motorcycle models will come from nine different manufacturers which include Ducati, Aprilia, Triumph, Tacita, MV Agusta, Kawasaki, Indian Motorcycle, the electric Energica Motor Company, and Zero Motorcycles. The range comprises seven different tires that will be fitted on the new models.
The new Pirelli tires were on display at the last Milan expo (EICMA). The expo is dedicated to the world of motorcycles. The tire selection included the sports Diablo Rosso™ III, the Scorpion™ Trail II, the Supersports focused Diablo™ Supercorsa SP, Diablo Rosso™ Corsa II, the timeless Phantom™ Sportscomp, MT 60™ RS, and MT 60™.
The partnership between Pirelli and some of the motorcycle manufacturers spans several years. The tire maker is also growing as a preferred choice for electric motorcycles from companies such as Tacita, Zero Motorcycles, and Energica Motor Company.

Tacita will equip its T-Cruise Urban and T-Cruise Turismo electric motorcycles with the Diablo Rosso™ III tires, These will be in the size 120/70 ZR17 front and 160/60 ZR17 rear.
