In a recent development, Continental Tire the Americas LLC announced the introduction of a new all-season commercial tire. The tire is known as Grabber HD Van tire and will be sold under the General tires brand.
According to the company, the tire comes with Duragen Technology which improves sidewall protection and durability. It is also made for long wear under loaded conditions.
The key characteristics of the Grabber HD Van include:
- Extra rubber gauge on the sidewall to increase strength against sidewall abrasions
- Durability and enhanced sidewall protection
- Balance performance on dry and wet roads
- Handling and stability under loaded conditions
“We are excited to add this new tire to the General Tire portfolio and to our customers,” says Travis Roffler, director of marketing, Continental. “This is a new tire offering and we are confident that this tire delivers both the performance and durability our van and fleet consumers need.”
Customers can buy the Grabber HD Van tire for 15-inch and 16-inch wheel diameters.
