Nexen Tire America Inc. will continue to sponsor Anaheim Ducks and Honda Center, allowing the company to reach over 1.3 million fans. This comes after the tire manufacturer renewed its sponsorship.
In addition to season and playoff home games, Nexen plans to include a branded Zamboni machine. It will have the company’s Winguard stable winter tires.
Just yesterday, Dallas Eakins and his wife hosted the inaugural Anaheim Ducks Rise & Run Coaches Challenge at Great Park in Irvine, California.
Those in attendance received a runner’s bib, a ticket to watch the team go against Detroit Red Wings tomorrow, team swag, and a custom Ducks medal.
Anaheim Ducks plans to run enter-to-win campaigns on social media to engage with Nexen and the fans. The campaign will also run on AnaheimDucks.com and at Honda Center to attract as many people as possible. Some of the prizes up for grabs include branded swag and paid getaways.
The Honda Center will have a Puck Drop Patio on the North entrance that will be open 90 minutes before puck drop. It will be available during the festivities held both before and during the game. The company will giveaway Nexen tires, photo opportunities with power Players and Wild Wing, as well as swag.
Nexen also sponsors other teams, including Frankfurt Eintracht, Machester City, Chicago Blackhawks, AC Milan, and U.S. Formula DRIFT.
