In a recent development, Continental Tire appointed Charles Holtmann as the new Managing Director for its division in Canada.
He will offer support and oversee sales for several tire groups in Canada. These include and are not limited to commercial and specialty as well as passenger and light truck tires.
He will operate from Continental Canada, the head office for all marketing and sales activities within the country.
Holtmann was born in Winnipeg. He joined the company in 2003 at its branch in Hannover, Germany. He has held different management positions in China and Southeast Asia. He joined the Canadian Truck Tire Business in 2019.
Holtmann has extensive experience managing the tire industry in Europe and Asia. He has been an effective leader and manager in his career.
Speaking about his appointment, he indicated that he is happy to join the Canadian division and looks forward to pushing and marketing Continental tires and products.
He takes over from Matthew Livigni who held the position for five years. Livigni has accomplished quite a lot throughout his 30-year career. He will take over as the General Market Manager for South Africa.
Both of them will start working in their new position effective January 1, 2023.
