TESLA TIRES FAQS

It’s reasonable to expect between 18,000 and 40,000 miles depending on your driving & tire maintanance habbits. It also depends on the treawear of the tire you’re running on your Tesla. If you’re running a tire with a higher treadwear the tire will last longer than a tire with a lower treadwear. However, the lower the treadwear the smoother and quiter ride while the harder the treadwear the louder and rougher the ride.

This depends on the size you’re running on your Tesla and also the brand tires you’re going with. On average we see the prices landing between $185.00 each tire on the low side and $405.00 on the high side. If you’d like a quote on your Tesla Tires use our search by size feature and we’ll give we’ll show you exact how much they are. All our tire options include Free Shipping, Road Hazard and Easy Returns.

Tesla factory replacement tires are expensive do to the fact that they are run flat. A run flat tire is much more expensive to produce than a non run flat tire. In addition if you choose a brand and model that’s specifically tuned for EV usage those tires typically run a bit more on the high side due to the technology those options have to offer.

Tesla recommends rotating your tires every 6,250 miles or if tread depth difference is 2/32 inches or greater, whichever comes first. It is also a good idea to check your alignment after every other rotation to assure your alignment is on point.

Tesla models with staggered and non-directional tires can be rotated side-to-side (left-to-right) but not front-to-back as the front and rear tire size is different. Left-to-right rotation can increase tread life by changing the direction of rotation for each tire and balancing shoulder wear.
