BFGoodrich Makes First U.S. Farm Tire

BFGoodrich has had a long and successful journey of producing some of the best tires in the world. While the tire manufacturer has stood out in niches like desert racing and motorsport, it is venturing into a new market – agriculture.

BFGoodrich recently launched a new robust and long-wearing agricultural implement tire dubbed the BFGoodrich Implement Control. In addition to adding to the already existing portfolio of BFGoodrich tires, the tire is built to help farmers in America maximize their yields while protecting their soils.

In addition, it’s entirely made in America and designed for tillage applications, heavy loads, and pull-behind farming implements. The tire is a high-flexion IF and low-pressure product built to carry 20% more weight when compared to standard radial tires operating at a similar pressure.

Some of the new features that BFGoodrich included within the tire are:

1. Damage-resistant off-road protection that allows the tire to support high load capacities and withstand rough impacts.

2. A tough and high-performing tread pattern that uses innovative rubber compounds that prevent stubble wear and tear.

3. A larger footprint that increases yields by reducing soil compaction.

4. Flexible sidewalls that optimize traction performance and allow for long wear in the field and on the road.

The BFGoodrich Implement Control tire is also compatible with the Central Tire Inflation Systems and can be bought immediately in sizes IF 280/70R15 and IF 320/70R15.
