Toyo Tire North American Manufacturing Inc. has named Shinji Tanabe as chairman and CEO. He will lead the team at the consumer tire plant located in White, Ga.
Tanabe is a veteran with 41 years of experience at Toyo. He has climbed the ladder within the company since he started working there.
The company has also named Patrick Lenz as the president and chief operating officer of Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing. This is a Toyo Tire Corp. subsidiary and the parent company to Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. Lenz will be in charge of the day-to-day running of the Georgian plant.
He will replace Donald Bunn. Bunn is retiring after working at Toyo for 17 years. He was named CEO in 2018. He has propelled the company in the manufacture of Toyo tires throughout his term.
