The new VW Multivan will roll out of the factory riding on a new set of Continental AllSeasonContact tires in sizes 16 and 17 inches.
The tire is designed to perform well all year and offer excellent braking and traction performance. This is thanks to special performance resin and high silica content.
Braking distances are significantly reduced thanks to the exceptional efficiency with which braking forces are transmitted to the road. The Continental tires perform well on wet and dry roads and snow-covered roads.
The unique geometry of the shoulder groove comes with an improved water drainage feature. It’s also designed to offer additional stability when cornering and exceptional lateral aquaplaning performance.
The AllSeasonContact tire is rated “A” in the EU due to its high energy efficiency. Its remarkable rolling resistance is thanks to a near-perfect balance between geometry, compound, and sidewall thickness. It also helps to cut fuel consumption and C02 emissions.
The AllSeasonContact tire has received praise from different automotive magazines and won prizes such as the Gute Fahrt (edition 9/22). It will come in the following two approved sizes for the VW Multivan.
