GT Radial will continue to supply tires to vehicles participating in the Pro Championship for the next three years. This is after the tire manufacturer renewed its partnership with Formula Drift.
The company will also remain the official Prospec series tire supplier after the agreement was extended for another two years. Teams participating in this event will still use the Champiro SX2RS GT Radial tires. These are made at the plant located in Chester County, South Carolina.
The tires are built to showcase America’s engineering expertise. Employees at the plant are proud to produce tires that meet the most demanding conditions at the drift competition.
According to the president of Formula Drift, Ryan Sage, the team is happy to have GT Radial continue to support Formula Drift and Prospec. They are working to strengthen the series by having qualified drivers move up to the FD PRO Championship every year. Having great tires goes a long way in ensuring this.
