Continental Tire recently promoted Ron Sinclair, Dave Deronne, and Bob Jones into new leadership roles in its PLT sales department. Sinclair will head sales and distribution while Deronne will lead the retail channel sales. Jones will direct sales for the car dealer department.
Ron Sinclair held several positions throughout his 15-year career at American Tire Distributors. He worked as the VP of marketing, senior VP of marketing, president of Tire Pros franchise, and VP of retail sales.
He will take the lead on the company’s GOLD Retailer Program and take charge of national and regional distribution customers.
Dave Deronne has worked at Continental for 17 years. He previously worked in sales, purchasing, and supply chain. He has worked as a commodity manager, sales program senior manager, and senior key account executive.
He will oversee the retail channel and lead the team when it comes to dealing with regional and national retailers.
Lastly, Bob Jones has worked at Continental for 12 years. He began as the area dealer manager then moved to head of pricing and recently head of programs and planning. He has extensive experience in sales and spent 7 years working at Michelin and 2 years at B.Y.O. Playground.
He will direct the team working on the auto dealership aftermarket business at the car dealer department.
