Kumho Tire recently hosted more than 50 tire dealers in Rome Italy between 9th and 11th June. The attendees got to watch the 5th and 6th rounds of the KUMHO TCR World Tour at the Autodromo Vallelunga Piero Taruffi.
The company also showcased some of its flagship products at the “Kumho Night in Rome” event. This allowed its representatives to speak to the dealers and strengthen its presence in Europe.
Some of the company officials present at the event include Kumho Tire CEO Jung Il-taik, Sales Division head Lim Seung-bin, Europe Sales head Lee Gang-seung (Tony), and Global Marketing Senior Vice President Yoon Jang-hyuk (Tony).
According to the CEO, Kumho Tire has managed to grow its sales despite the challenges experienced during the pandemic. The company is working on its competitive edge while increasing market influence and enhancing brand value.
The KUMHO TCR World Tour started in May and is scheduled to take place in 8 countries across 4 continents. Countries on the list include China, Uruguay, Italy, Belgium, Australia, and Argentina.
Some of the automakers that are participating in the events include Hyundai, Audi, and Honda. Vehicles are usually fitted with the Ecsta S700 and W701 Kumho tires for dry and wet conditions respectively.
