Sumitomo Rubber Industries is planning to release a new range of tires to its portfolio this year. The lineup will include options for off-road, motorsport, ultra-high performance, electric vehicles, and trucks.
Some of the new Falken tires coming to the market include the Azenis RS820 built for high-powered vehicles. It will be available in 38 sizes ranging between 19 to 21 inches in the 30-45 series. The tire is designed to handle speeds of up to 300km/h.
The e. Ziex tire is now available in 17 new dimensions. It was first launched in 2023 and now comes with energy efficiency capabilities such as rolling resistance and reduced noise emissions. It is made for hybrid and electric vehicles.
The Falken Azenis FK520 now comes in additional sizes ranging between 205/40 R18 (86Y) and 325/30 R21 (108Y) XL. It offers improved comfort and handling in dry conditions and grip in wet conditions. 5 other sizes will be added in spring.
Falken has also introduced the Wildpeak R/T01 tire for off-road enthusiasts. It is available in 9 sizes ranging from 16 to 20 inches. It can handle demanding terrains thanks to an improved structure and tread design.
Finally, Sumitomo will also be releasing the Linam Van01 and EuroAll Season Van11 for commercial vehicles. These two van tires are available in 37 sizes in the 55 to 82 series. They offer safety and durability for light commercial vehicles.
The EuroAll Season Van11 comes with a snowflake symbol to indicate that it’s suitable for winter and is available in 23 sizes in the 55 to 75 series. Diameter ranges from 14 to 17 inches.
