GT Radial Finished 2nd and 3rd At 2024 Formula Drift Championship

GT Radial Tires

On April 13, GT Radial scooped a double finish at the 2024 Formula Drift Pro Championship Road 1. Simen Olsen from Norway came in second while Aurimas Bakchis finished third. The former was driving a Feal Suspension Nissan S14.9 while the latter was behind the wheel in a Feal Suspension/GT Radial Nissan S15.

According to GT Radial, this was a great performance considering the challenging weather the team experienced. The GT Radial tires performed exemplary well on the wet road. Teams that rode on the GT Radial Champiro SX2 tires were awarded the most points in last year’s season.

In 2022, the team took second place after completing six podiums. It came in third in 2021 and has been improving since finishing fifth in its first year. GT Radial has signed a new contract with Formula Drift to extend its partnership for another 3 years. It will remain the exclusive tire supplier for the ProSpec series for another 2 years.
