In a recent announcement, Ironman Tires has expanded its I-Series Gen 2 lineup by introducing four new models: the I-31M, I-42W, I-28D, and I-52A. These additions join the previously released I-19A, I-37D, I-48T, and I-61S, further enhancing the company’s offering for a range of driving conditions and vehicle needs.
The company revealed that the new tires come equipped with enhanced designs and materials aimed at improving durability, traction, and fuel efficiency. Ironman also unveiled an extension to its Peace of Mind Warranty, which now includes six years of coverage for defects in workmanship and materials, as well as a casing allowance for up to two retreads.
Among the new models, the I-28D is positioned as a regional and long-haul drive tire, offering improved fuel efficiency thanks to advanced compounds that reduce rolling resistance. It also features a 28/32nds tread depth, a wider contact patch, and zig-zag sipes, which help enhance traction and stability in various weather conditions.
The I-31M is designed as an all-position tire suitable for both on- and off-highway use. It features a deeper tread for extended mileage and durability, along with protective stone ejectors and a curb guard for added resilience.
The I-42W, a wide-base tire intended for heavy loads and mixed-service applications, features deep treads and a semi-open shoulder design to improve traction and drainage. This makes it particularly suited for challenging environments where both durability and performance are crucial.
Lastly, the I-52A is built for high-scrub regional conditions, with a wider tread to ensure even wear and wavy outer grooves that enhance tear resistance, making it ideal for demanding regional applications.
With these new additions, Ironman Tires aims to provide customers with more options tailored to specific driving needs while ensuring long-lasting performance and greater reliability on the road.
