Off-road and overland enthusiasts have reason to celebrate as Falken Tire Philippines has introduced two new tire models in its Wildpeak series, designed to offer top-tier performance across diverse terrains. Distributed by JM Far East, the new Wildpeak R/T01 and A/T4W models were unveiled at an event held in Parklinks, where attendees had the opportunity to test the tires on both paved and rugged surfaces using popular SUVs and trucks.
The Wildpeak R/T01 is crafted to handle both wet and dry conditions with ease. Known as a rugged-terrain tire, it features a unique hybrid tread pattern and bold sidewall design, offering reliable performance whether on-road or off-road. The tire’s “tectonic tread blocks,” reinforced with step-down support, contribute to enhanced handling stability and longer tread life, especially valuable when towing heavy-duty loads.
Meanwhile, the A/T4W model caters specifically to serious outdoor adventurers, showcasing significant upgrades over its predecessor, the A/T3W. The new design includes a refined rubber compound, improved tread rigidity, and optimized heat dissipation, providing a 20% boost in efficiency—making it more robust for long, demanding journeys.
Expressing excitement over the launch, Winston Manabat, president of JM Far East, emphasized the company’s dedication to meeting the needs of the growing off-road market. He noted that expanding the Wildpeak line with these innovative models reflects their commitment to the automotive industry, aiming to provide performance for both daily drivers and extreme adventurers.
The R/T01 and A/T4W models are now available at Falken Tire retail outlets across the Philippines, as well as online. Each purchase comes with a five-year warranty from the date of purchase, ensuring drivers can rely on these new tires for years of rugged use.
