Hankook Tire has announced the promotion of Kyuwang (Ken) Cho to the position of Senior Vice President of PCLT Sales and Marketing at its North America headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. The appointment took effect on February 1, 2025.
In his new role, Cho will oversee various key areas, including marketing strategy, technical services, Canadian marketing efforts, and supply chain and logistics operations. He will also spearhead several important initiatives, such as Hankook’s newly relaunched ONE Program, designed to offer recognition and incentives to tire dealers across the United States.
Rob Williams, President of Hankook Tire America Corp., highlighted Cho’s expertise in driving sales and market growth, noting that his experience would be crucial as the company expands its presence in North America. Williams also emphasized that Cho’s leadership will play a vital role as Hankook ramps up production at its Tennessee plant and completes the Phase 2 and Phase 3 expansions. The company looks forward to the synergies Cho will bring to their sales and marketing efforts, contributing to both innovation and success for their dealers.
Cho has a wealth of experience, including a strong understanding of market dynamics and a unique combination of global and localized strategies. Before his promotion, he served as Vice President of U.S. PCLT Sales and, prior to that, as Vice President of Global Sales at Hankook’s headquarters in Korea. With over 25 years of experience with the company, Cho is poised to continue driving Hankook’s growth in the region.
