BFGoodrich Tires Extends Title Sponsorship of the 2025 Mint 400

Officials from UNLTD Off-Road Racing have announced the continuation of their partnership with BFGoodrich Tires as the title sponsor for the 2025 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400. The renowned tire brand will once again play a prominent role throughout the entire event, which spans from the exciting Mint 400 Vehicle Parade and Off-Road Festival in downtown Las Vegas to the intense two-day racing spectacle in Primm.

The 2025 event marks the beginning of a three-year sponsorship extension for BFGoodrich, who have been a staple as the title sponsor of the Mint 400 for the past eight years. Their relationship with the race goes back even further, as BFGoodrich previously served as the presenting sponsor for several years before officially becoming the title partner. Furthermore, BFGoodrich tires have been powering competitors in the Mint 400 since the race’s inception in 1968.

The brand’s dominance at the Mint 400 is undeniable, having claimed both overall victories in last year’s race. Adam Householder secured the win in the Unlimited Race, marking the 13th consecutive year that a BFGoodrich-equipped vehicle triumphed in that category. Householder raced on a set of BFGoodrich Baja T/A KR3 tires. Meanwhile, Ronnie Anderson claimed victory in the Limited Race on his BFGoodrich KM3 tires.

As the 2025 race approaches, BFGoodrich has already achieved impressive results in the Limited Race. Brock Heger of Polaris Factory Racing clinched the overall victory in the UTV Pro Open category, while Carib Potts, the overall winner of the Parker 400, captured the Class 10 victory. Key contenders for the Unlimited Race include defending champion Adam Householder, 2023 winner Eric Hardin, Tim Herbst, Ryan Arciero, and Kevin Thompson, who are all expected to compete for the title in both the Unlimited Truck 2WD and 4WD categories.

The Mint 400’s legacy is long and storied, with a history that dates back to 1968. Originally conceived as a promotional event for the Mint Hotel’s annual deer hunt, the race quickly grew into one of the toughest and most prestigious off-road events in North America. By 1978, director Robert O’Connor and his film crew documented the BFGoodrich Performance Racing Team’s journey through the Mint 400, capturing the challenges faced by legendary racers like Frank “Scoop” Vessels and “Baja” Bob Gordon. This documentary remains a reminder of the race’s rich history and the fierce competition it attracts.

Since its revival in 2008, the Mint 400, also known as “The Great American Off-Road Race,” has only grown in prominence, attracting deeper and more competitive fields each year. The event will take place from March 5-9, 2025, once again showcasing the best off-road talent in the world as they tackle the rugged terrain of the Nevada desert.
