Toyo Tires Will Showcase 32 World-Debut Custom Vehicles at 2021 SEMA Show

The Toyo Tires Treadpass is set to return for its 8th year. It was postponed in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The upcoming popular destination for SEMA attendees will host world-debut cars. It will be located between the Central and South Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Toyo Tires’ Outdoor booth will have two main art installations, one by Ken Block and Brian Scotto of Hoonigan featuring Audi models, and another by conceptual artist and designer Joshua Vides. These will be in front of the South Hall entrance (Exhibit #84160). Those attending will have an opportunity to collect limited-edition Leen Customs pins in both locations.

“Toyo Tires is excited to rejoin SEMA 2021 in person and bring back our celebration of creativity and vehicle execution at Treadpass,” said John Thomas, president and chief executive officer, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. “SEMA allows us to highlight and partner with some of the best builders in the industry. They choose Toyo Tires knowing the right tires elevate the look, feel and performance of their vehicle.”

Some of the vehicles that will be showcased include a 1000hp 1994 Mazda RX-7, a 1972 Chevy K5 Blazer with chopped doors, and an iconic 1982 DeLorean DMC 12. A total of 32 cars are expected to debut at the SEMA Show in the Toyo Tires Treadpass.

Attendees will be able to witness black and white art by Joshua Vides. The artist has worked with shoe and car companies including BMW, Converse, Fendi, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. His new project at the SEMA will include his own BMW E30 M3 riding on Toyo® Proxes® Sport A/S tires.

Next to Joshua Vides’ display will be Ken Block and Brian Scotto’s all-new Audi builds featuring Ricardo Gonzalez’s art also known as “Itsaliving.” Ken Block will be displaying an Audi Sport Quattro Tribute made by LCE  in Germany. On the other hand, Scotto will be showcasing an Audi Coupe Quattro, a project car he bought in 2004.

Toyo Tires will also be bringing back their limited-edition pins in partnership with Leen Customs. All 10 pins with Toyo Tires vehicles will be distributed at specific times throughout the show. Schedules will be available on display in front of South Hall and Toyo Tires Treadpass.
