Road Venture MT71

Kumho Tire Australia recently launched a new mud terrain tire dubbed “Road Venture MT71” for the Australian market. The tire comes as a new addition to the Kumho tires dedicated to SUVs and 4WD Utes.

According to Kumho, the MT71 has been in development for two years. It provides premium performance off-road and is aimed at setting new standards for the 4WD tire segment.

Speaking at the launch, Kenny Chun, the National Marketing Manager for Kumho Tire’s Australian arm, said that the Road Venture MT71 comes as a cornerstone product as it will offer a competitive price for the highest level of performance available in the market today. It is available in several specs and sizes, not just one.

It features an impressive tread design that boasts of enhanced off-road traction and climbing performance. Exceptional off-road capability is of its most notable features thanks to additional cut and chip resistance and enhanced durability. Highway stability and safety are also top-notch.

A pre-launch test of the tire was done. It scored exceptionally well in forward traction, side-bite ability, front path stability, slick rock traction, and in a variety of other performance dynamics.

The Road Venture MT71 has a unique footprint and is designed to deliver ultimate traction, and mud and track performance thanks to its extreme off-road specs and complex mud terrain tread design.

It also reduces road noises significantly compared to other MT tires. This is courtesy of a center block that is packed well and a dual pitched tread design that comes with patterns influenced by theories of fluid mechanics. This means that you get a tire that can adapt to climbing and wet performance pretty well.

Buyers can get the Road Venture MT71 in diameters ranging from 14 inches – 17 inches. There are also 27 sizes available that meet most of the needs of the mud-terrain segment.
