Nexen Tire recently announced that it will be supplying the Winguard Sport 2 and N’blue S tires as original equipment (OE) in the upcoming generation of the Volkswagen Golf.
The WINGUARD Sport 2 is a winter tire designed to provide stability on snowy and icy surfaces. It performs highly when it comes to handling and braking on wet and dry road conditions. It’s also a premium alpine tire that is specifically designed for winter driving in top-of-the-line sedans and sports cars.
The N’blue S is a tire built for high-performance and eco-friendly cars. It minimizes rolling resistance and provides excellent braking and drainage performance thanks to a simple tread pattern design. It was the first among Nexen tires to adopt the company’s Sidewall Aero Dynamic technology. This helps to assure reduced pass-by noise and better mileage.
The WINGUARD Sport 2 is available in two sizes – 205/55R16 91H and 195/65R15 91H. N’blue S is available in size 205/55R16 91V.
