Two in Leadership Receive Promotion at Toyo Tire

Toyo Tire recently promoted two members of its leadership team. The two are Conrad Galamgan and Jared Norman. Galamgam takes on the role of VP, product planning, and technical services while Norman becomes the sr. director finance, pricing, and planning. The positions became effective on September 1.

Galamgam has held the role of sr. director product planning and technical services since August 2015 when he joined Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. He had just moved from Nitto Tire U.S.A. where he was the sr. director of product planning and business development. He came with more than 21 years of experience and has been vital in developing and enabling strong teams, strengthening relationships with the parent company in Japan, and revitalizing the company’s portfolio.

Norman, on the other hand, is currently the director of finance, pricing, and planning. He has worked at Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp for 7 years. He started working with the company as the sr. manager of finance in 2013. He has continuously taken more responsibilities throughout the years. He will oversee all the financial functions of Toyo Tire, including collaborating with the headquarters and other business units in Japan. Norman will also manage strategic business planning in addition to pricing and business analytics teams. This will be done in coordination with IT and supply chain management.

According to Roy Bromfield, president and CEO of Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp., Conrad’s promotion to vice president is a reflection of the contribution he has made to the success of the company. His experience in the industry, strong relationship with Research and Development in the U.S. and Japan, as well as his knowledge of Toyo Tire, has helped maintain a steady stream of new products for the company.

Speaking about Jared, Bromfield said that Jared’s ability to ensure that Toyo Tire is still experiencing strong sales and financial results made him key in the management of finances and planning. His strong dealer relationships, ability to introduce popular products, smart business decisions and strategic planning helped the company navigate through these unprecedented times.

Bromfield is confident that both Jared and Conrad will portray strong leadership skills at Toyo Tire in the years to come.
