Nexen Tire recently announced Brian YoonSeok Han as the new CEO of its US-based operations. Han will be in charge of Nexen Tire America and will lead the company from its headquarters in Diamond Bar, California. He will assume the role immediately.
Han was appointed to fill in the gap that retiring Jong-Sun Kim left. Kim served as CEO between 2018 and 2020. According to Nexen, Han will be in charge of overseeing operations and the company’s strategic direction in Canada and the USA. He will also support the Seoul-based headquarters regarding original equipment Nexen tires sales in North America.
Han has been working with Nexen for 15 years. He is an industry veteran, having 25 years of experience in the tire business. He started working with Kumho Tire Korea in 1994. Before taking up his recent role as CEO, he was the global marketing vice president for Nexen. Prior to that, he had served as the president of Nexen Tire Italia.
