Hankook Debuts First Line of Trailer Tires

Hankook Tire America Corp. announced on April 5 that it would launch its first line of Hankook trailer tires. The standard line is dubbed Vantra Trailer while the high-load variant is named Vantra Trailer TH31. The former is available in nine sizes while the latter will be released in three sizes.

The Vantra Trailer boasts decoupling grooves and a high stiffness pattern block that provides heavy-duty performance. It also comes with trailer-specific technology to improve traction on all roads. Its structure is designed to offer enhanced stability and durability in addition to better traction.

The Vantra Trailer TH31 comes with a main zigzag groove that provides water drainage and traction under different road conditions. Asymmetric grooves are also incorporated to help eject stones. Hankook Tire also included an all-steel radial structure that adds to the tire’s durability as well as a new compound that reduces oxidation and the disconnection of polymer chains.

“We’re committed to offering tire products that enable consumers to enjoy the freedom of the open road,” Curtis Brison, Vice President of Sales at Hankook, said in a statement. “We are eager to enter this segment and look forward to serving the market with our new and innovative Vantra Trailer products.”

The new Hankook tires are now available for campers, travel trailers, boat trailers, horse trailers, flatbed/hauling trailers, and fifth-wheel trailers.
