Continental Rolls Out New General All-Weather Tires

Continental Tire recently entered the all-weather tire market segment with its brand new General AltiMAX365 AW tire.

It will be available in 52 sizes that range from 15 to 20 inches in rim diameter. All options will come with the 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake certification to affirm that the tires are well built for harsh winter conditions.

The AltiMAX targets drivers looking for a versatile tire that provides optimal traction in deep snow and best-in-class overall performance. This is while being compared to other all-season tires available on the market.

“With balanced performance in both wet and dry conditions, this new offering allows drivers the freedom to drive on one set of tires year-round, saving them the cost and inconvenience of tire changes twice a year,” says Continental Tire the Americans LLC officials.

“General Tire’s VAI Technology provides visual alignment indicators alerting the driver to check the wheel alignment. Additionally, a symmetric tread pattern allows for the tire to be rotated, promoting long, even tread life.”

Buyers will get a 60,000-mile limited treadwear warranty that is backed by a 45-day customer satisfaction trial. There are three General Tires under the AltiMax brand to choose from. They include the AltiMAX Arctic, the AltiMAX RT, and the AltiMAX 365 AW.

The AltiMAX Arctic is a studdable winter tire that boasts innovative compounds and tread pattern technologies that offer superior traction in low temperatures on snow, ice, and wet conditions. The AltiMAX RT is an all-season touring tire designed to offer quiet, all-season comfortability and traction thanks to its enhanced treadwear and extended treadlife.

The AltiMAX 365 AW is a versatile option. It is an all-weather touring tire built for passenger cars and crossovers. It allows drivers to drive on one set of tires all year.
