Kumho Picked As OE Tire for New Nissan Pathfinder

Kumho Tire is one of the largest tire manufacturers. It has been using innovation to improve and develop its product for more than 60 years.

It’s one of the leading tire companies when it comes to market expansion, environmental awareness, and technical progression. It is dedicated to offering optimal services and ensuring customers get to have an exceptional driving experience.

In one of its latest developments, the Kumho was picked by Nissan to be the original equipment supplier for the 2021 Nissan Pathfinder. The vehicle will sport a new set of Kumho Crugen HP71 tires that will be fitted in size 255/60R18.

The Crugen series meets the needs of urban SUV drivers and has been hailed worldwide for being an SUV-exclusive tire brand. The HP71 offers great performance and quick handling due to its improved shoulder blocks and strong center.

In addition, it comes with wide circumferential grooves and full-depth sipes to help prevent hydroplaning, evacuate water, and improve wet weather traction. Kumho also included its Variable Pitch Technology that boosts the vehicle’s fuel economy and ensures comfort.

It also reduces on-road noise significantly while performing excellently. These new Kumho tires are currently being made at the Macon-based plant in Georgia. The plant will supply the tires to Nissan’s production site.
