Nexen Tire got approval to supply the BMW 2 Series with original equipment tires. This is the first front-wheel-driver sporty minivan from BMW. It is designed to offer excellent acceleration, great engine and transmission performance, and excellent driving.
Nexen will supply the N’FERA Sport, a premium sports tire designed for the European market. It offers excellent drainage performance using 3+1 wide grooves and comes with asymmetrical patterns ideal for high-speed driving.
Leading European auto magazines gave the tire “strong” and “purchase” recommendations in summer tire tests. The magazines include Ace Lenkrad, AutoBild, and ADAC. The tire was also awarded the main product design prize in the ‘Red Dot Design Awards’ in Germany.
Thanks to continuous research and development, the tire maker has managed to expand its supply of Nexen tires for new cars in the premium category. This strengthens its competitiveness in Europe.
