The Biggest Cooper Tire Unveiled for Lifted Truck Owners

For owners that love to ride high in their lifted pickup trucks, Cooper Tire recently unveiled its largest tire yet – the Discoverer® Rugged Trek™. It was showcased at the 55th annual SEMA show held in LA. The tire is expected to go on sale in 2023.

It’s designed to hold more air, hit softer ground much better, and improve the looks of your truck. It’s available in size 37 inches and features Cooper’s Mountain Pass and Kinfe-Edge customizable sidewall designs. The 37×12.50R20LT  tire will meet the growing demand for floatation tires.

It comes as an addition to the expansion of 10-size options that started in the summer of this year. Efforts will extend to early 2023. Off-road enthusiasts and fans of lifted trucks now have a much more durable and larger tire for traveling.

The expansion of the line comes as a response to Cooper’s success with the Discoverer Rugged Trek. The new tire comes with deeper tread blocks to boost traction and improve tread life. On top of a competitive limited warranty, it also boasts a 55,000-mile treadwear limited warranty.

In addition to this new tire, the company also showcased four other floatation Cooper tires in different sizes all in the Discoverer STT Pro lineup. These include the 35X12.50R22LT LRF, 33X12.50R20LT LRF, 35X12.50R18LT LRD, and 35X12.50R17LT LRE sizes.

This particular lineup boasts enhanced performance on harsh terrains and offers excellent traction. It comes with the company’s trademarked Armor-Tek3 carcass build that provides protection against trail damage and improves durability. The 35- and 33-inch options are ideal for muddy conditions and provide great curb appeal.
