Porsche 911 Dakar to Sport Pirelli Off-Road Tires

The new Porsche 911 Dakar is a limited edition off-road vehicle that will ride on the Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus tires as original equipment.

The tires are designed to counter more challenging road conditions. They will come as standard equipment as Porsche reincarnates its all-wheel drive model that won in the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally.

In addition to off-road tires, the vehicle also sits 2 inches higher on the ground when compared to the base 911. It boasts an optional Rallye Design Package and a standard lifting system that provides additional ground clearance whenever needed.

The Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus tires measure 45/45 ZR 19 at the front and 295/40 ZR 20 at the rear. They come with a chunky tread pattern that is 9 mm deep, a reinforced sidewall, and a thread that consists of two carcass plies.

Buyers also get to choose Pirelli P Zero winter or summer tires as an option. The standard all-terrain Pirelli tires will also offer sportscar dynamics while driving.
