Hankook Tire Promotes its Executive Team in North America

Hankook Tire recently promoted its executive team at its headquarters in North America. Those promoted include Rob Williams, Jong Jin (JJ) Park, Intae (Ted) Choi, and Byoungjoe (Joe) Park.

Rob Williams is now the President of Hankook Tire America Corp. He’ll oversee the U.S. and Canada and continue leading the TBR sales department and Tennessee plant. He served as the Senior Vice President of Commercial and Consumer sales for the North American region.

He has more than 3 decades of experience in the tire industry and has been successful in operations and sales leadership positions, profit optimization, and strategic planning.

In addition, Jong Jin (JJ) Park takes over as the Vice President of USA PC/LT Sales. He’ll be in charge of Corporate Sales, Sales Innovation, and the South, North, NAD West Regional USA PC/LT Sales teams.

He served as the Vice President of Marketing and the Director of U.S. Sales innovation for Hankook Tire America. He joined the company in 2004 and has worked in the UK and US regions.

Intae (Ted) Choi takes over as the Vice President of Marketing. He will be responsible for TBR marketing, Marketing Strategy, Canada Sales, Supply Chain & Logistics Operations, and Canada Sales. He will still remain as the Vice President of Tennessee Plant Management Support.

Choi was previously the Vice President of the GAIA Project, Vice President of Hankook’s subsidiary in Australia, and Team Manager of Corporate Strategy & Innovation.

Lastly, Byoungjoe (Joe) Park will take over as the Vice President of the Corporate Management Team in North America. The team oversees accounting, tax, internal audits, and finance at Hankook. He served as the Team Manager for the Tennessee Plant and has held leadership positions at the company’s headquarters.
