Hankook Tire was ranked high at the recently concluded iF Design Award 2023 by winning in three categories. These include communication, professional concept, and product categories.
The company’s iON evo EV tires and robotic wheel system Wheel Bot were both recognized during the event. The former took the first award thanks to its high-performance features. The latter won in the Professional Concept category alongside the “Urban Reshaping Concept”.
The two were developed as part of Hankook’s “2022 Design Innovation Project.” This is a research project aimed at showcasing what the future of mobility will look like.
Hankook has won 24 iF awards since 2009. The company was awarded the Gold Award in 2016 – the highest award given by iF Design Awards.
