Hankook Tire recently joined the Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP) association to accelerate company efforts towards achieving sustainability. The association comprises car makers and suppliers working together to make an environmental impact in the American automotive industry.
SP allows those involved to focus on operations, suppliers, and materials, The members work together with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to increase collaboration and share ideas.
Hankook plans to work with other industry leaders and working groups to address sustainability needs and build relationships with stakeholders in government and NGOs.
