Nexen Tire recently got awarded the Good Design Award 2023 in the mobility category. The company said this was courtesy of its Roadian HTX 2 highway terrain tire.
This is a highway terrain tire made for SUV/LT. It boasts improved mileage performance, better snow traction, enhanced handling performance, and tread grip. The company said that the 3D sipes available on the product also help to increase traction.
The shoulder block features a cooling pin design that regulates temperatures during driving. This makes the tire durable in high-speed environments and allows for stable driving. The Roadian HTX 2 also comes with different sidewall designs with different themes.
This allows drivers to pick tires based on their preferences. The Good Design Award is also referred to as G-Mark in Japan. It’s sponsored by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP). It’s the country’s sole design review and recommendation system.
Its G-Mark logo has been synonymous with the awards since 1957. It recognizes good designs from different sectors, including business strategies and industrial items. Nexen Tire plans to keep up with its excellent design and performance to improve brand value and enhance customer satisfaction.
