Brabus has added Hankook tires to its list of performance products that will be used on its vehicles. The German tuner said that the UHP Ventus S1 Evo 3 and UHP Ventus S1 Evo Z tires stood out for their high grip, improved safety on wet and dry roads, and high strength.
The company intends to fit the tires on wheels measuring up to 23 inches in diameter. The Hankook Winter I*cept Evo 3 high-performance tire will also be added to the list. It also stood out after several driving tests on different supercars.
According to Brabus’ Chief Technology Officer Jörn Gander, Hankook is also set to produce special tires specifically for the company. These will be specially tailored to meet specific requirements for Brabus supercars.
Technicians and development engineers from both sides will work together to achieve the set goals. Hankook’s experience as a supplier of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship will come in handy as the two work to also cater to new energy vehicles.
