At the 2023 SEMA Show, Hankook Tire introduced its new Dynapro series for light trucks and SUVs. The series includes the Dynapro XT for rugged terrain, the Dynapro MT2 for muddy environments, the Dynapro AT2 Xtreme for all-terrain, and the Dynapro HT for all-season highway driving.
In another announcement, the company also introduced the Dynapro HPX, an all-season touring tire for SUVs that will be available in January 2024. The flagship lineup offers performance and reliability to SUV drivers looking for an all-season touring option.
Buyers will get to enjoy extended tread life, exemplary comfort, and improved safety. The HPX is the newest addition to the lineup and comes with several features that will be of great benefit to drivers.
These include a compound that allows the tire to last up to 12% longer than other similar tires, improved grip and handling that improves wet braking by 15%, wet handling by 7%, and snow braking by 4% when compared to its predecessor.
Lastly, the tire also features a tread pattern that minimizes noise thanks to improved multi-pitch sequencing and knurling technology. There are now a total of 5 dedicated tires in the Dynapro lineup that cater to SUVs and light trucks in different seasons.
The first four options were on display in Las Vegas. The new HPX will be available in 39 sizes between 16 and 22 inches with a 70,000-mile limited tread wear warranty.
