Toyo Tire has appointed Tomoshige “Tomo” Mizutani as the Chairman and CEO of Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas Inc. (TTHA) in Costa Mesa, California. Mizutani has worked in the tire industry for 36 years.
He previously served as the Chairman and CEO of Nitto, President and CEO of Toyo Tire North America OE Sales (TNOE), as well as Chairman and CEO of Toyo Tire U.S.A Corp. He will continue to hold the position of division general manager at the company’s business division sector and as the senior corporate officer of Toyo Tire.
In other news, the company has also appointed Keiko Brockel as the president and CEO of Nitto in Costa Mesa, California. Brockel has worked at Nitto Tire for 15 years and previously served as the president of Nitto Tire Canada.
Lastly, Osamu Watarai has been appointed as the president and CEO of TNOE in White, Geogia. He has worked at Toyo Tire for 27 years and previously served as senior sales manager, group manager of global OE sales for Japan, and general manager of OE sales in Asia.
