The Kumho ECSTA HS52 tire was recently put to test by German automotive magazines Auto Bild and ADAC. The tire received a “Good” rating from both with ADAC placing it in third place and Auto Bild in fourth place.
This made the ECSTA the highest-performing tire from South Korea. ADAC considered performance on wet and dry surfaces, mileage, wear, sustainability, and noise. It tested 16 summer tires in size 215/55 R17 from different manufacturers across the world.
On the other hand, Auto Bild assessed 55 tires available in size 205/55 R16. It ranked the ECSTA HS52 second for its stability in dry and wet conditions and for its short braking distances.
The tire is designed for sports cars and premium sedans. It comes with a solid block tread pattern design that allows it to offer consistent ground friction pressure. This in turn minimizes noise and shock.
Kumho Tire aims to earn a revenue of $3.39 billion in 2024 from its qualitative and quantitative growth.
