Toyo Tires has launched the Open Country R/T Pro, a hybrid M/T tire designed for both on-road and off-road use. Built to excel in tough conditions such as dirt, sand, mud, rocks, and snow, the tire features a 3-ply sidewall and large shoulder lugs to prevent cuts, chips, and impacts.
The Open Country R/T Pro fills the gap between the rugged R/T Trail A/T tire and the Open Country M/T. It offers a perfect balance of off-road capability and on-road comfort, catering to off-road enthusiasts seeking versatility.

Replacing the original Open Country R/T launched in 2014, the R/T Pro boasts an aggressive tread pattern with omni-directional-shaped tread blocks, an increased void ratio, and lateral grooves to improve traction in challenging conditions like snow and mud. Its hybrid design reduces pattern noise and enhances ride quality and handling on roads.

The Open Country R/T Pro will be available in 50 sizes, with load combinations for 17- to 24-inch wheel diameters, and a maximum overall diameter of 42 inches. It is compatible with vehicles from brands like Chevrolet, Ford, INEOS, Land Rover, Nissan, Jeep, Ram, and Toyota.
