Pro off-road driver Jacob Pacheco, behind car #4812, won a convincing first-place overall at the 2025 MetalCloak NorCal Stampede, opening the Ultra4 West Regional Championship season on a positive note. The event, held at Prairie City SVRA in Rancho Cordova, California, saw Pacheco dominate the competition in the 4800 “Legends” class by taking advantage of the new Hankook tires for optimal performance on the demanding short-course track.

This was the Dynapro MT2’s first official competition appearance, following Pacheco’s earlier top-10 at the 2025 King of the Hammers. Designed to meet the class spec of 37-inch DOT-rated tires, the MT2 features a high-depth sidewall and aggressive tread profile that carried well during hot racing conditions.

Pacheco, remembering his experience, explained that he previously used three tire brands but found Hankook’s Dynapro MT2 to have better traction in mud and greater durability on rocks—attributes that contributed to the attainment of zero tire failure for the entire weekend. His winning drive consisted of 10 laps averaging 2:00.088 per lap.

Hankook Tire North America greeted the win enthusiastically. Marketing Team Director Sean Kim said the win emphasizes not only Pacheco’s skill but the solid engineering behind the Dynapro MT2 as well. He noted the tire was designed to deliver exceptional performance in hardcore motorsport and everyday driving conditions.

The Dynapro MT2, for performance off-road and on-road comfort, is available in 36 sizes ranging from 15 to 22 inches of rim diameter. It is the flagship member of Hankook’s larger Dynapro family that consists of the HT2, AT2 Xtreme, and XT—each for different drivers’ demands for performance and adventure.

Pacheco’s win and dominating debut of the MT2 only solidify Hankook’s stance in off-road competition and its commitment to be at the leading edge of tire technological development.
