Michelin has introduced the X Multi Z2, an all-position tire made for regional food logistics, urban delivery, and public transit fleets. The tire has been engineered with long-lasting durability and consistent traction in all climatic conditions, allowing fleets to meet schedules in time-sensitive operations.
Michelin claims the X Multi Z2 offers 17% lower rolling resistance and 20% more miles than the outgoing model, the XZE2. The improvements come courtesy of Regenion tread technology that resists loss of traction throughout the life of the tire. The tire also features 3PMSF-approval for winter capability and Powercoil casing technology for increased durability.
Pierluigi Cumo, Michelin North America VP of B2B marketing, stressed reliability is paramount in transit and logistics. He noted the new Michelin tire enables fleet performance where time is of the essence, making it a reliable solution for city mobility.
The SmartWay-validated X Multi Z2 will be available in sizes 11R22.5 and 295/75R22.5.
